Transport Fever

Train Fever

Train Fever is a business simulation game by Urban Games, funded via the crowdfunding platform Gambitious on 20 March 2012 for a total budget of €300,000 and therefore published digitally by Gambitious Digital Entertainment and to retail by Astragon.

Train Fever was made available for pre-order on 22 July 2014 and released on 4 September. On 8 November 2016 the successor, Transport Fever, was released: it is based on the same engine and has new transport types and larger map sizes.

The game is heavily inspired from other transport simulation games, such as Transport Tycoon, Railroad Tycoon and OpenTTD; and, to a lesser extent, Cities in Motion.

Transport Fever

Transport Fever is a business video game series developed by Urban Games and published by Gambitious Digital Entertainment. The franchise was introduced in 2014, when the first game titled as Train Fever, with the latest game titled as Transport Fever 2 was released in 2019.

Transport Fever 2

Transport Fever 2 is a business simulation game developed by Urban Games and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment. It is the third video game of the Transport Fever franchise, and was available for Microsoft Windows and Linux on 11 December 2019.

Like the series’ previous games, Transport Fever 2 still focuses on the transport evolution of the past fifteen decades. However, the campaign mode rewrites the transport history in comparison to Transport Fever, and takes place across three different continents. The game also features a sandbox mode, a map editor and mod tools.

Transport Fever 2 was announced in April 2019. It is developed by Urban Games, the developer of the Transport Fever franchise, and published by Good Shepherd Entertainment. The game was initially available for Microsoft Windows and Linux on 11 December 2019 worldwide via Steam, with A macOS version to follow in autumn 2020.
